Welcome to Cert Rocket! Cert Rocket is a monitoring service that helps users track the uptime of their web resources and monitor the health of their SSL Certificates. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.


2. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Use

As a user, you are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about your web resources. You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable laws and these terms. The following activities are strictly prohibited:


Service Disruption
Harming or disrupting the performance of web resources through excessive resource usage, flooding, or other disruptive activities.


Deceptive Practices
Generating false, misleading, or deceptive metrics, or engaging in fraudulent activity.


Illegal Content
Monitoring websites that host illegal content, infringe copyrights, or promote harm, violence, or discrimination.


Anti-Competitive Behavior
Undermining competitors through malicious means or misrepresenting their services.


Impersonation and Deception
Mimicking legitimate services for malicious purposes or engaging in deceptive conduct.


Data Scraping
Unauthorized data mining, scraping, or extraction of information from monitored resources.


Unlawful Activities
Monitoring resources involved in illegal activities, such as fraud, intellectual property theft, or activities violating local, national, or international laws.


Mission Critical Monitoring
Using Cert Rocket to monitor any mission-critical web resource where failure may result in loss of life or serious injury.


Failure to comply with these restrictions may result in the suspension or termination of your account.


3. Free Advanced Monitoring for Education and Non-Profit Organizations

Cert Rocket offers free advanced monitoring for qualified education and non-profit organizations. This is a self-policed offer, and Cert Rocket reserves the right to downgrade or revoke free monitoring access if your organization does not meet the criteria, as determined by our team. Decisions are made at the sole discretion of Cert Rocket, and no appeals or compensation will be provided for users denied access to this service.


4. Service Availability and Performance

Cert Rocket will make best efforts to maintain the performance and availability outlined in our product offerings, ensuring reliable monitoring of your web resources and SSL Certificates. However, we cannot guarantee 100% adherence due to factors such as internet outages, maintenance, third-party interruptions, and unforeseen issues.


Communication of Disruptions
We will make every effort to inform you of service disruptions in advance, where possible, to minimize the impact on your experience.


Feature Changes
Cert Rocket may modify or remove features from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in advance, where possible, to ensure a smooth transition.


SSL Monitoring Subscription Opt-In
All SSL monitoring subscriptions are opt-in, and you can unsubscribe from any SSL monitoring-related communications via the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email.


5. Subscription and Payment

Cert Rocket operates on a subscription model. You agree to pay all applicable fees based on the plan you select. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be provided for partial subscription periods unless otherwise approved.


Refund Requests
Users are welcome to request refunds for any reason by emailing [email protected]. Refunds will be reviewed and actioned at the discretion of the Cert Rocket team, taking into account individual circumstances.


6. Limitation of Liability

Cert Rocket is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use our service, including service interruptions, inaccurate monitoring data, or issues related to SSL Certificate health monitoring. Your use of the service is at your own risk.


In no event shall Cert Rocket or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or in connection with the use of the service. Cert Rocket’s total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.


7. Abuse Reporting

If you believe Cert Rocket is being used in a way that negatively impacts your website or violates our Terms of Service, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We are committed to ensuring that our service operates respectfully and within the boundaries set by both our terms and those of the websites we monitor. Our goal is for Cert Rocket to function seamlessly and remain unobtrusive to website operators. We take all reports seriously and will promptly investigate any concerns. Should we find a violation of our terms, we will take swift action to rectify the situation and prevent further issues.


8. Termination and Appeals

Cert Rocket reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in activities that harm the integrity of the service or other users. You may also terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through your account dashboard.

You may appeal any suspension or termination of your account by emailing [email protected]. All appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and the final decision will be communicated after consideration of the circumstances.


9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Victoria, Australia.


10. Amendments

Cert Rocket reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
